Kia whaia te iti kahurangi

Tihei mauri ora

Listen here

My friends

Through being responsible

Through respect

Through resilience

We will work collaboratively

To achieve success

This is the essence of life

TRS Values Closing Karakia

Ngā mihi nui ki ōku hoa

Kia tau te rangimarie

Ki runga i a tātou

Kia hoki pai ai tātou

Ki ō tātou whānau

Tihei mauri ora!

Thanks to my friends

Let peace be

Upon all of us

So we return safely to our families

This is the essence of life

Whakarongo mai rā

Ki ngā tangata o te kura nei.

Me pupuri tātou

Ki te kotahitanga

Me tū hei tauira

Mā te manaakitanga

Mā te manawaroa

Mā te takohanga

Kia kohikohi ai ngā āheinga

Kia mau tonu ki te ako

Ka taea e tātou

Ki te whaia

Te iti kahurangi

Ā te wā ā mua.

Haumie, hui e, taiki e.

Listen to this call

To the people of this school

We must hold firmly

To the sense of oneness

Stand as examples

Through respect

Through resilience

Through being responsible

So we gather our abilities and tools

Holding firmly to things learnt

We will be able to

Follow a pathway

To the highest levels

In the times ahead.

Bound, linked and affirmed.
