Why Choose Us?

Core Subjects:
In all classes there is coverage of the seven essential learning areas:
English Technology The Arts Science
Social Sciences Maths
Health and Physical Education
Additional Programmes:
ESOL
We are a vibrant multi-cultural school where students with English as a second language receive support from a specialist teacher.
Gifted and Talented Education
We believe that our gifted and talented students are catered for very successfully in our classroom teaching programmes. Teachers cater for these students with in their groupings. Our gifted and talented students are extended within the class programmes not only in Maths, Writing and Reading but also in the Arts and Inquiry Learning. When visiting a class you will often see one or two students working on individual programmes set by teachers to extend their learning. The nature of the Inquiry Learning lends scope to help develop and extend their skills as the tasks are more individualised.
